Jammu Bar accords warm welcome to CJ Kalifulla
Jammu, Sep 22: The Bar Association Jammu today accorded warm welcome to Chief Justice, F M Ibrahim Kalifulla on his maiden visit to Jammu after being sworn-in as the Chief Justice, High Court of J&K.
The function was attended by Justice, J P Singh, Justice M H Attar, Advocate General, Regis¬trar General of the High Court, B L Bhat (Special Judge CBI Jammu), Principal District & Session Judge Jammu and members of Subordi¬nate Judiciary.
Welcoming the Chief Justice, General Secretary, Bar Associa¬tion Jammu, Vikram Sharma, congratulated him on his assum¬ing Office as Chief Justice of the High Court of J&K.
President, Bar Association Jammu, B S Slathia apprised the Chief Justice of the healthy traditions of the Bar in extend¬ing its full corporation in the administration of Justice.
He also apprised him of the vacancies of High Court Judges which were lying vacant since long. He con¬gratulated Jang Bahadur Singh, Principal District and Sessions Judge for his able administration in checking the corrupt elements.
