Sadhotra takes on PDP
‘Tender apology for praising Modi’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Jammu, Sep 22: The senior National Conference leader and Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Ajay Sadhotra on Thursday demanded an apology from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for praising Gujarat Chief Minister Narendar Modi.
“PDP leadership needs to give up double standards and apologize for praising Narinder Modi,” Sadhotra said in a statement.
He alleged that PDP had entered into an undeclared alliance with Sangh Parivar in 2008. “They created havoc on Amarnath land row along with Sangh Parivar to divide state on regional and communal lines. It was National Conference leadership, Omar Abdullah and Dr Farooq Abdullah, who at that time made all out efforts to frustrate the evil designs of the PDP and Sangh Parivar,” Sadhotra said in a statement.
He appreciated people of Jammu and Kashmir for remaining calm and working towards strengthening unity and secularism in the state to avoid any divide.
He urged people to beware of “nefarious designs” of PDP and Sangh Parivar’s aimed to weaken the state and its traditional communal brotherhood.
