Youth conference on drug addiction held

Srinagar: Police organised a youth conference on drug addiction at Town Hall, Magam Budgam on Thursday.
 According to the police spokesman, large number of youth particularly students of different educational institution attended the conference. An awareness debate regarding drug abuse and its eradication was organised by SDPO Magam, Mubashir Bukhari.
 Experts from drug de-addiction centre, PCR Hospital and Assistant Controller Drugs apprised the youth regarding the menace of drug addiction.
 In the debate, first prize was bagged by Kalimulla of High School, Magam, second prize by Ashfaq Shafi of Government Degree College, Beerwah and third prize was won by Muhammad Ali High School, Magam.
 Consolation prize was also given to Syed Majid of Amar Sing College.
