SYED IMRAN ALI HAMDANI
Srinagar, Sep 23: The residents of Nawa Kadal in Shahr-eKhaas staged protests against the locality bad roads after the congregational Friday prayers.
Staging a sit in after coming out of Masjids, the residents accused the government of failing to improve the road connectivity saying the Mohalla lanes and bylanes were in a dilapidated condition for years.
“Our lanes and bylanes resemble archaic means of road connectivity,” the residents said adding that the drainage system was also poor.
They however dispersed peacefully after sometime.
