Cabinet Sub-Committee on Justice Sagheer Working Group-V holds 4th meeting

Srinagar, Sep 26: The cabinet sub-committee to deliberate upon the constitutional, legal and political ramifications of the recommendations of Justice Sagheer led working Group on Centre-State relations held its 4th meeting here on Monday under the chairmanship of the Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs, Abdul Rahim Rather, an official spokesman said.
The meeting, he said, held threadbare discussion on the subject. The sub-committee had earlier also discussed the recommendations in its meetings held on January 28, 2011 and June 1, 2011 and August 8, 2011.
The Justice Sagheer led Working Group is the fifth working group constituted by the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh to address various dimensions of Center-State relations.
The Minister for Rural Development, Ali Muhammad Sagar, Minister for Industries and Commerce, S S Salathia, , Minister for CAPD Qamar Ali Akhoon, and Secretary Law, G H Tantray attended the meeting.
