Docs remove 5 kg cyst from woman

Pulwama, Sep 26: Doctors at district hospital here have successfully removed a five kilogram cyst from the body of a pregnant woman.
 Gynecologist Dr. Me’raj-ud-Din Bhat, under whose supervision the surgery was carried out told Greater Kashmir that 27-year-old woman of Nawpora had been complaining severe abdominal pain due to a huge cyst present in her ovary.
 Dr. Me’raj-ud-Din Bhat said the woman was brought to district hospital last week where the doctors decided to operate upon her and the five kilogram cyst was removed on Saturday in just seven minutes procedure.
 According to the medical superintendent, Dr. Muhammad Saleem Khan the patient has shown encouraging signs of improvement and her baby is also clinically sound.
