Farmers’ Mandi inaugurated
Jammu, Sep 26: Farmers’ Sunday Market was inaugurated at Channi Himmat by the Department of Horticulture Planning & Marketing. SP South Rajeshwar Singh on the occasion said the city dwellers remain busy with their official/business obligations during weekdays, and tend to visit vegetable markets/shops on Sundays for making purchases. Jia Lal Sharma, Director Horticulture Jammu informed that this project model has been launched as per directions from Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Horticulture and Javed Khan Director Horticulture Planning & Marketing Department.
