Learner minor on wheels hits schoolgirl
GK CITY REPORTER
Srinagar, Sep 27: A Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Raj Bagh student was hurt Tuesday morning outside the school campus when some schoolboy learning driving hit her, reports and witnesses said.
The incident happened when the girl was being dropped at the school by her parents.
“My daughter had a narrow escape when the red Alto car being driven by a schoolboy hit her… He was probably learning driving,” her parents told Greater Kashmir.
Meanwhile, a delegation of parents said many people learn driving on the Convent road thereby risking the life of schoolchildren walking there.
They appealed the Inspector General of Police, Traffic, Hemant Kumar Lohia to look into the matter so that no driving practice takes place there.
