Srinagar: The Democratic Political Movement secretary general, advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi on Thursday expressed serious concern over the continued house arrest of Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, terming it ‘sheer human rights violation.’ In a statement, Reshi appealed to the international community in general and UN Secretary General in particular to exert pressure on New Delhi to put an end to the Geelani’s continued house arrest.
