Govt will ensure improvement in development scenario: Sakina
Srinagar, Sep 5: Minister for Social welfare Sakina Itoo on Monday reiterated the commitment of Government to ensure equitable progress and development of all regions in the State.
She maintained that several development schemes launched by the coalition Government are aimed at poverty alleviation and improving living standard of people.
Addressing a public meeting at Damhal Hanjipora, she said Government is seized of the public problems and is committed to address them in a phased manner.
Sakina asserted that the coalition government has transformed development map in the State. She said every corner in Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed marked improvement in roads, bridges, health, education and other development sectors. She said economic infrastructure damaged during turbulent times has also been re-constructed over the last three years.
Highlighting the development scenario of Noorabad constituency, Sakina said that last three years of development in the Assembly segment surpasses that of last 50 years. She said Laisogadar, Dandawara Badjalan and Gulabgarh roads have been taken up for execution, on which she said crores of rupees are being incurred to complete them at the earliest.
