Inter-College Hockey tourney starts
Srinagar, Sep 5: The Inter-College Hockey Tournament organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports department Kashmir University started at Kashmir University ground here on Monday.
On the inaugural day three matches were scheduled but only one was able to be played as the other two turned out as walkover affairs.
In the first scheduled match, the Government Degree College (GDC) Islamabad got walkover against GDC Tral as the later did not report at the venue while in second match Amar Singh College got walkover against GDC Shopian.
In third and the only match played during day Physical Education College Ganderbal thrashed GDC Bemina by 4-0. Satbir scored twice while Maninder and zahoor scored one each for them.
