SKIMS notifies 3PM to 6 PM as visiting hours

Srinagar, Sept 7: The administration of SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, has notified the visiting hours saying that the visitors would be allowed entry from 3 PM to 6 PM.
 The people have been advised to avoid bringing children along for the hospital visit.
 In an official communiqué, the Director SKIMS Prof Showkat Ali Zargar on Wednesday urged the people to visit the hospital as per the schedule i.e. between 3 PM to 6 PM and avoid bringing children to the hospital as it has a “tremendous impact on the children’s psyche.”
 “For a child witnessing patient in agony and pain is bound to have negative impact on him,” Dr Showkat said.
 “In the larger interest of patient care management and maintenance of sanitation and cleanliness and to keep away from the hospital acquired infections, we request the people to desist from visiting the hospital during restricted period,” said Dr Zargar appealed.
