Training prog on TB care held
Srinagar, Sept 7: J&K Voluntary Health Association in collaboration with Divisional Administration organized a TB Care and Control sensitization training for NGOs of Srinagar and Budgam districts at their HQ at Pandrethan.
A handout said the training programme was inaugurated by Dr Farooq Ahmad, Chief Medical Officer Srinagar who “expressed hope that Axshaya Project will also be implemented by J&K Voluntary Health Association in other Districts of Kashmir Valley, as well.”
“The resource persons for the training were Dr PC Bhatnagar, Director, Communicable Diseases, VHAI Headquarters New Delhi and Dr Arshid Ahmad, Medical Officer, Tuberculosis Srinagar. AM Mir (IAS Retd) Executive Director, J&K VHA gave brief details about the Axshaya Project being implemented in Kashmir,” it added.
