KUTA suspends work for one hour
Srinagar, Mar 31: The teaching work remained suspended at Kashmir University Saturday for one hour on the call of Kashmir University Teachers Association.
A handout issued by KUTA said that the teaching faculty staged a peaceful demonstration in front of Administration Block from 12.00 noon to 1:00 pm, to press for payment 6th pay commission arrears and implementation of University Grants Commission guidelines.
Speaking on the occasion, the KUTA functionaries announced that a full day strike will be observed on Monday 2ndApril to draw attention towards their demands.
