Prof Talat lays foundation stone of library, auditorium
Islamabad (Anantnag), Apr 9: As a part of its program of providing all round development to the satellite campuses of the Valley, Vice- Chancellor University of Kashmir Prof Talat Ahmad on Monday laid the foundation stone of central library cum auditorium at south Campus Fatehgarh here in south Kashmir.
Terming library and an auditorium as primary organs of any educational institution, the Vice-Chancellor, who was chief guest on the occasion, said, “These are the two important things in today’s world in any educational institution. On one side central library serves the intellectual pursuits of both the students and the faculty members of the institution and on other side a modern auditorium provides an opportunity to the students, scholars and teachers to give vent to their ideas, experiences and research investigations by holding and conducting discourse on science and other cultural activities through various seminars, symposiums and debates.”
