Geelani prays for Peer Jalal-ud-din’s speedy recovery
Srinagar, Apr 10: Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Monday visited SKIMS Soura to inquire about the health of noted religious personality Peer Jalal-ud-din, who was shot at and injured last month by unidentified persons at Batamaloo here.
Condemning the attack on Peer Jalal-ud-din, Geelani termed it as a conspiracy. “Some miscreant agencies want to create a division among people in the Valley. Attack on Peer Jalal-ud-din is an attack on humanity,” a party spokesman quoted Geelani as saying.
