JK Bank training institute kicks off 10-day program

Srinagar, Apr 10: J&K Bank RSETI Kupwara today kicked off a ‘Skill Development Course’ in Crewel and Chain Stitch. 30 trainees from far flung areas of the district attended the programme that shall continue for 10-days.
Cluster Head Kupwara Muhammad Younis Pattoo inaugurated the programme.
Addressing trainees and other guests he stressed the participants to take the trainings seriously so that they were able to provide employment to others besides employing themselves.
Earlier, Director RSETI assured the participants of every endeavour to make them familiar with basic banking services, facilities and different modes of transactions during the programme.
Meanwhile, J&K Bank RSETI Ganderbal concluded a week-long training programme ‘Skill Development Course’ on willow wicker in which 20 youth from BPL category had participated.
Speaking at the valedictory session of the course, Director RSETI Altaf Hussain Mir said, “J&K Bank has conceived the RSETIs as entrepreneur feeders for the local economy and we have designed our courses accordingly with special focus on current market practices.”
He urged the trainees to avail the benefits of training for self-employment and secured future.
Director RSETI awarded ‘certificates of participation’ to the trainees on the occasion.
