K-Report will trigger debate: Padgaonkar
Srinagar, Apr 12: Amid speculations of centre would make Interlocutor’s report on Kashmir public in the next few days, Chief interlocutor and noted journalist Dalip Padgaonkar on Thursday said the report would trigger debates at national and international level.
“Our report will definitely trigger a healthy debate at local, national and international level.” Padgaonkar told KNS over phone from New Delhi, adding that the team had a wider range of deliberation before drafting the report. While hoping for an early release of report by GOI, the chief interlocutor said, “It should have been made public much earlier to instill confidence among people of the state.”
Declining to comment on the contents of the report which was leaked by New Delhi based daily, Padgaonkar said, “All I can say is that the report envisages almost every aspect pertaining to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.”
He claimed that the team had taken every sensitive angle of the problem into consideration while drafting the report. (KNS)
