Health issues

This refers to World Health Day which was observed on 7th April through out the world to mark the anniversary of the founding of WHO in 1948. World health day is a global campaign, inviting every one from global leaders to the public in all countries and states focusing on new and emerging health issues. Kashmir is reeling under many emerging health issue challenges. We are yet to find ways to tackle alarmingly high incidence of gastrointestinal cancers involving food-pipe, stomach and colon. The food habits in Kashmir contribute largely to such diseases as the consumption of fresh vegetables, fruits and salads is much less here.
