Victor Force organises youth mela

Srinagar, Apr 13: A youth mela was organised by Victor Force at Safapura near Manasbal lake today. 
 In a statement, a spokesman of Victor Force said, “the aim of the Mela was to showcase Army’s multiple facets to the local people and also to generate interest amongst youth of Ganderbal and Bandipora district.” 
 The spokesman said on the occasion stalls such on Handloom, Handicrafts, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture and Industrial Development were set up and career counseling was provided to youth.
 Major General Gurdeep Singh, GOC Victor Force who was the chief guest, appreciated enthusiasm displayed by the participants.
