24 RR organises tour
Srinagar: 24 Rashtriya Rifles organized a picnic cum tour for village elders of its AOR to Tulip Garden, Srinagar.
A spokesman of the 24 RR in a statement said the tour comprised of 38 elders including women and eight children from various spectrum of populace of Kangan tehsil.
“The tour was a welcome break from day to day routine of village elders which was apparent from their joyous mood and enthusiasm. The villagers expressed their gratitude to Rashtriya Rifles on providing them this opportunity. One of the villagers, part of the tour described it as a delightful experience to be cherished for times to come,” the statement added.
