Hajin residents resent doc’s transfer
Srinagar, Apr 14: Residents of north Kashmir’s Hajin town Saturday alleged that authorities were undertaking unwanted transfer of doctors in the area.
“Recently Dr Ishtiyak Naik was transferred to Kreeri, Baramulla. Dr Naik was serving people well and we want him back,” a delegation of the residents told Greater Kashmir.
They said if the doctor was not transferred back, they will hold demonstrations and authorities will be responsible for that. “We have always been at the receiving end.
We just want the doctor back otherwise we will launch agitation,” the delegation added.
