DC FLAGS OFF CYCLOTHON

Srinagar, Apr 15: The District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan on Sunday flagged off a cyclothon from Poloview to Bakshi Stadium in the City.
The cycle rally was organised by an NGO ‘CHANGE’, a local socio environment group in collaboration with various cycle associations of the state. Around 1500 cyclists participated in the rally.
The objective of organising the rally was to bring about positive change in the health, socio-economic and cultural environment of the state at micro level so that real change can be caused at macro level.
Among others, Executive President, J&K Bank, Tafazul Husain and Aamir Ali were present on the occasion.
Later, a colourful event was organised at Indoor Stadium Srinagar in which a large number of people participated.
