Old Gagribal residents appeal Div Com
Srinagar, Apr 15: Residents of Old Gagribal have expressed resentment over inordinate delay in repairs of a road there.
A delegation from the area said last year the UEED constructed a drain from Jamia Hanfia Masjid to Receiving Station. “However, despite passing of many months, neither the road has been leveled nor repaired. The road is dotted with mud and potholes causing immense inconvenience to us,” they said.
“We can understand that macmadisation can’t be done this time, but atleast the Roads and Buildings department can level the road to facilitate our smooth movement. We make a fervent appeal to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon to look into the matter,” they said.
