SMS ban

This refers to the ban on SMS services in Kashmir. It was a fast, easy and reliable mode of communication. Since May 2010 this service is not available. Almost two years have passed but the ban continues, except for post-paid customers for whom the service was restored. Majority of people here are prepaid users. Why is the government not lifting the ban if they claim that the situation is back to normal? The ban should have been lifted months ago.
