MTMI contests report

Srinagar, Apr 16: Majlis Tuhafuz Madaris Islamia (MTMI) Jammu and Kashmir has termed as wrong the news report appearing in different newspapers that Dar-ul-Uloon Deoband had advised the Muslims of India to avoid practicing polygamy.
 “Some people, feeling sacred of the of Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband’s elevated status, have floated the lie about it,” said a spokesman of the Majlis in a statement today.
