This refers to the news report about BUMS, Ayurvedic and ISM doctors who practice allopathic system in valley. Baseless allegations were levelled in the report to malign the image of ISM doctors. Loopholes are everywhere but that does not mean that the entire fraternity should be blamed. Moreover, the adult dosage of Aminoglycoside Gentamicin is 2-3 mg/kg of body weight/day, which sums up to around 80 mg per dose for an adult of 60kg weight. So 50mg of Gentamicin is not fatal.
