Ruhullah inaugurates Bemina bridge

Srinagar, Apr 18: Bringing an end to the inconvenience being faced by residents of Khomeni Chowk and nearby Budgam areas, the Minister for Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Science Technology Aga Syed Ruhullah on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed bridge on Gari Kul in Bemina.
He said the coalition government was committed to give more thrust in ensuring better road connectivity as well as specific approach towards the areas where pace and progress under different developmental sectors is lacking.
The 28 meter long steel Decked Bridge constructed over Gari Khul Bernina Budgam road, constructed at a cost of Rs 1.89 Crores by R&B Budgam was thrown open in presence of Minister of State for R&B, Javid Ahmad Dar, District Development Commissioner Budgam, Muhammad Rafi, Chief Engineer R&B Mushtaq Ahmad Lone and Divisional President National Conference Ali Muhammad Dar.
Speaking on the occasion, Javed Ahmed Dar reiterated “government’s commitment to demonstrate a significant development in better road connection.”
The locals hailed Ruhullah Mehdi and the District Development Commissioner, Budgam for personally ensuring that the bridge was speedily constructed following some initial hiccups.
