IICT holds interactive session

Srinagar: Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT) today organized an interactive session to explore the possibility of providing marketing platform for the carpet artisans of Kashmir.
Alka Arora Additional Development Commissioner Handicrafts and Managing Director Central Cottage Industries Limited, Anjali Rai Chairperson, Central Cottage Industries Ltd, New Delhi and Deputy Director Handicrafts Altaf Hussain participated in the session.
The team interacted with members and office bearers of Kashmir Federation of Artisans who had come to interact with visiting delegates to share their views and difficulties being faced by them in terms of obtaining raw material, marketing support etc.
