Raged, car driver knocks down LAWDA official
Srinagar, Apr 19: In a case of road rage, a car driver hit and critically injured an official of Lakes and Water Ways Development Authority (LAWDA) on Thursday evening when he reportedly prevented former’s car washing near the Dal Lake.
Reports said that incident happened when PRO cum solid waste management official , Tariq Ahmed Malik during routine check up found a person washing his car near the Fore Shore Road. “On being objected about his act, he in a fit of rage started his car and hit the official which resulted on spot injury to the official,” said, a LAWDA official.
He further added that Malik is being operated upon at a private hospital for his injuries to knees. The accused was later reportedly nabbed by police.
