JKSSIC issues notices to non-state subjects
Srinagar, Apr 20: Jammu and Kashmir State Subject Inquiry Commission has issued final notices to non-state subjects who have fraudulently obtained state subject certificates of J&K State to appear before the commission.
According to the notification No. COI/SSC/99/ there are at least 340 non-state subjects who have fraudulently obtained the certificates.
“The Commission had received complaints against at least 340 persons alleging them as non-bonafide state subjects of J&K who had fraudulently obtained the documents. After summoning them repeatedly through concerned Tehsildars they did not appear before the commission,” the notice reads.
“The Commission has decided to issue a last and final notice through print media against the said persons giving them last and final opportunity to appear before the commission,” it states.
“The persons are hereby given last and final opportunity to appear before the Commission in person or through authorized agent along with proof of documentary otherwise in support of their being bonafide state subjects (Permanent residents) of JK State, failing which appropriate orders will be issued by the Commission in their cases and no objections will be entertained thereafter by the Commission,” the notice says.
