YCC Rainawari, FCC Hawal win over rival teams
V-C’S CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, Apr 20: In the ongoing Vice-Chancellor’s cricket tournament two matches were played at Kashmir University ground, here, on Friday.
In the first match, YCC Rainawari defeated Islamic University by 131 runs. Batting first YCC piled up huge total of 198 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted overs. Ubaid with 52 was highest scorer for them.
In reply Islamic University were bundled out for paltry total of 67 runs in 18.2 overs. Ubaid of YCC was adjudged as man of the match.
In the second match, FCC Hawal defeated Khanyar CC by 32 runs. Batting first FCC sccored 158 runs in allotted overs. Showkat with 52 from 20 deliveries was highest scorer for them.In reply KCC were bundled out for 132 runs. Arif with 38 runs was highest scorer for them. Showkat was adjudged as man of the match.
The event is being organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports department Kashmir University.
