Award in memory of Izhar Wani

Srinagar: Kashmir Journalists Corps has constituted an annual award in memory of Izhar Wani, Bureau Chief of AFP, in recognition of his selfless contribution to the field of journalism in J&K and inspiring young talent.
 A statement said meeting of KJC was held here on Saturday in which it was decided that the award would comprise cash and citation which would be given to the reporter of the year, the upcoming talent of the year and the photographer of the year.
