Police file charge sheet against 28 youth

Srinagar, Apr 21: Police have filed charge sheet against28 youth on the charges of committing offences under various sections of RPC in an FIR lodged against them at Police Station Parimpora in 2010.
According to the charge sheet the accused were involved in rioting after they assembled unlawfully and prevented the police officials from discharging their duties.
The police have filed the charge sheet in the court of 1st Additional and Sessions Judge Srinagar.
While the charge sheet was presented in the court, the counsels Mir Shafaqat Hussain, N A Ronga and Mir Urfi told the court that they represent the accused and would defend them. The court has posted the matter for May 17.
