Agri technocrats call off hunger strike
Govt assures redressal of ‘genuine demands’

Jammu, Apr 22: Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul today assured the J&K Agricultural Technocrats Association that their genuine demands would be redressed.
He said the government is committed to resolve all genuine demands of the Agricultural Technocrats regarding absorption in government jobs on seniority basis, enhancement in stipend, and various other issues, an official statement said.
Gul said this while interacting with the Agricultural Technocrats leadership who are on hunger strike.
In response to the assurance by the Advisor to Chief Minister, the protestors called off their hunger strike.
Advisor appealed the Agricultural Technocrats to serve their duty for the uplift and progress of the State so that the state would progress in agriculture and allied sectors.
