Galaxy School organises cross-country run
Srinagar, Apr 22: The Galaxy Public High School, Ahmad Nagar organised its annual cross-country run from Dagh park Foreshore to Nishat garden here on Saturday.
In the run that was flagged off by school Principal GN Naqash around 700 students of the school in both sections of boys and girls participated.
In boy’s category, Fahad Showkat of class 10th B cruised to victory while as Moin Altaf of class 6th finished second. Saqib of class 9th B finished third.
In girls category, Taabish Mehraj of class 8th B finished first while Aliya Inayat and Raksh Bahaar finished second and third respectively.
The prize distribution ceremony was held at Nishat garden. Chairmain of the school Hilal Hussain Malik was chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes among the winners.
