Jagman wins cycle rally
Jammu, Apr 22: Jagman Singh of Bal Bharati Public School won the cycle rally which was organised by Jammu Adventure Sports Club, on the theme, `Save Fuel Use Cycle’, on the city roads, here today.
Second place went to Swarn Anand of KC International School while third position went to Kunal Gupta of New Era School.
Earlier, the rally was flagged off by Inspector General of Police (Traffic), Hemant Kumar Lohia from Bahu Plaza. Later, the competitors finished their journey at Green Field ground, Gandhi Nagar after passing through different spots.
Prizes were distributed among the winners by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic, Manmohan Singh. He encouraged the young participants to use bicycles for reaching out at small distances around them. He also lauded the efforts of the Adventure Sports Club for involving young students in constructive activities.
In all, 600 young students drawn from different schools of the city participated in this cycle rally.
