Tourist dies of heart attack

Srinagar, Apr 22: A tourist hailing from Maharashtra died due to cardiac arrest at Gulmarg resort in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said today.
Gurmukh Dass Garella, a resident of Maharashtra, fell unconscious near Gondola Cable Car complex at Gulmarg last evening, a police spokesman said.
Garella was shifted to the Public Health Centre Gulmarg where doctors declared him dead on arrival, the spokesman said.
The cause of death is believed to be heart attack, the spokesman said, adding, the body was handed over to Garella's legal heirs for the last rites.
