Salih Sublime conducts cross-country run
Srinagar, Apr 23: The Salih Sublime High School, Kursu Raj Bagh organized its annual cross-country race from Gupkar Road to the Grand Lalit Palace here on Monday.
The run was flagged off by Assistant Professor, Dept of Home Science Kashmir University, Dr Muzamil Jan who was chief guest on the occasion.
In the event around 175 students of school participated. Among others present on the occasion were school Chairperson, Secretary and Principal Sameer Ahmad Mir.
On this occasion students were divided into three categories from 8th-10th, 6th-7th, and 4th- 5th.
In first category, among boys Karamjeet Singh, Akbar Ali bagged first position while Tabish second and Basit and Junaid third.
In second category, Ajaz bagged first, Mirza Faisal second and Waseem third, and in last group Bilal Saleem bagged first, Mohsin second and Wamiq third.
Also in girls first category Rashida Parveen bagged first place while Khushboo Rehman and Ruksana bagged second, Chasfida bagged third.
In second group Mehvish bagged first, Sadiya Manzoor second and Kertiza third.
In last category, Tabeena Ashraf bagged first, Afreena second and Iqra third.
The school management has thanked SHO Ram Munshi Bagh and traffic police department for their support.
