Cricketers Forum appeal KPL organisers

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Apr 24: The J&K Cricketers Forum has appealed the organisers of Kashmir Premier League (KPL) to organise district level qualifying event for District Srinagar.
“The Army and Youth Sports department organise KPL. However, the cricket clubs of Srinagar are not aware about the nominations of teams for the event. We request organisers to advertise entry forms for the event properly so that clubs across district would come to know about the event,” Secretary Cricketers Forum, Nasir Ahmad Khan said.
“In other districts of Valley, organisers conduct qualifying event for selecting teams for main event. However, In Srinagar no such procedure is being followed with which deserving teams don’t get chance to show their talent in event, “he added.
