J&K Bank holds awareness camp
Inaugurates new premises at Sumbal

Srinagar, Apr 24: J&K Bank today organised an awareness camp-cum-customer meet at its Business Unit Ompora in Budgam.
The programme was conducted by the Marketing Division of the Bank.
A good number of customers, senior citizens, traders, students and other local residents attended the meeting.
President and Zonal Head Kashmir (Central) Bashir Ahmad Lone presided over the function attended by Marketing Head (Central Zone) Waqar Nazki, Cluster Head Abdul Hamid Khan, President Auqaf Committee Ompora, Director RSETI Tariq Ali and B/U Head M Sidiq.
B/U Head Tariq Ali gave a brief overview to the people present on the occasion about various financial schemes of the Bank available for the common man.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head B A Lone said, “J&K Bank is always at the service of common people of the state. The Bank has grown leaps and bounds despite adverse conditions only due to the support and trust of the people. As a result the business turnover of the Bank has crossed 87,000 crores.”
He informed the audience that the Bank would open 100 more business units in the state out of which 29 were planned for the Budgam district.
Earlier, Marketing Head, Waqar Nazki spoke about the establishment and aims of the Marketing Division of the Bank. He said, “The Bank has established a separate marketing division to know and understand the requirements of the people better and develop new schemes which suits their needs and aspirations.”
Meanwhile, J&K Bank B/U Sumbal was shifted to its new premises today.
Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Muhammad Akbar Lone who was the Guest of Honour, inaugurated the new premises amid a good gathering of customers, senior citizens and local residents. J&K Bank Vice President Kashmir North G. Q Shah, Cluster Head Aftab Ahmad Qazi were also present on the occasion.
