KU hosts painting competition

Srinagar, Apr 24: Department of Geology and Geophysics and Students Welfare Department, Kashmir University on Tuesday organized a painting competition on Environment at the varsity campus.
 A KU handout said: “More than 35 students studying from 8th to 12th  standard in various schools participated in the competition.”
 Prof Nilofar Khan Dean Students Welfare  and Prof Shakeel A Rumshoo coordinator  Earth Day celebrations interacted with the participating students and “expressed satisfaction  the way children are able to portray environment issues with brush”.
