ML commemorates foundation day
Srinagar: Muslim League Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday organized a convention here to commemorate its 43rd foundation day with its Amir Muhammad Yousuf Mir in chair.
The convention was attended by the members of central and district bodies.
The speakers of the occasion saluted the valour and resolve of its leaders and members. They reiterated the pledge to continue struggle until the complete realization of the objective. They condemned the continued detention of League leaders: Dr Muhammad Qasim Faktoo and Masrat Alam Bhat.
Special prayers were offered on the occasion for the 134 Pakistan soldiers who lost their lives at Siachen Glacier due to snow avalanche. The members also expressed solidarity with the people and government of Pakistan over the recent aeroplane crash.
