SP College hosts Book-Review

Srinagar, Apr 24: The S P College Debating Society Tuesday organized a ‘Book-Review’ to mark the World Book Day.
 “Fifteen reviews of recently published books were received, of which five selected were read out by the reviewers,” a handout said.
 The college Principal Dr Nazir Ahmad Gilkar in his address highlighted the importance of book reading.
 Prof M Shamim, Principal, Vishwa Bharti College, Srinagar, emphasized the need for “simplicity and objectivity as tools for human nurture”.
 The chairman of the session, ZG Muhammad, a prominent columnist, in his address appreciated the efforts made by the college in organizing the event.
 “The reviews were presented by Bupinder Singh Bali, Tabzeer Yaseen, Mushtaq-ul-Haq Sikander, Javaid Ahmad Darzi and Dr Nazir Ahmad Gilkar while the proceedings were conducted by Prof Humaira Qadri and vote of thanks  was extended by Dr M Farooq Mir," the handout said.
