Abdul Sattar elected JKLF district president
Srinagar, Apr 25: Abdul Sattar has been elected as Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) district president for Kulgam.
The election to this effect was held today at a delegates’ meeting at Kulgam in south Kashmir with Front election commissioner Noor Muhammad Kalwal in chair.
The delegates from the whole district participated in the election. The Front leaders Prof Javid, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Mushtaq Ahmad Ajmal and Ghulam Qadir Hyder participated as observers. The newly elected body of Kulgam district comprises Abdul Sattar as district president, Assad Ullah Sheikh, vice-president, Nazir Ahmad Khanday, secretary, Amir Ahmad Rather, joint secretary, Ghulam Hassan Rather, organizer, Muhammad Yaseen Lone, cashier, and Muhammad Iqbal Wani, press secretary.
Seven members were also elected for district working committee.
The Front election commissioner felicitated all the elected members
Meanwhile, Front has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of late Habibullah Bakshi of Sanat Nagar.
