RANGE LEVEL SPORTS C'SHIP, CROSS-COUNTRY RUN

Srinagar, Apr 25: Prize distribution ceremony for the Range level sports championship and Cross-country run of Police Public School Bemina was conducted at the school on Wednesday.
 Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range (CKR), Abdul Gani Mir was the Chief Guest and Sr. Superintendent of Police, Srinagar Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
 Sports Championship in Badminton, Table tennis, snooker and Painting were organised at District level in the month of March and Range level championship was conducted at S.K Indoor Stadium, Srinagar in which participants from District Budgam, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Leh and kargil took part. In the last week of March, 17 winner and 11 runners won the prizes in different categories in Badminton, Table tens, Snooker and Painting. All the winners of the events were awarded with cash pries, trophies and certificate by DIG CKR, flanked by SSP Srinagar and all SPs of City Srinagar.
 The Cross-country run was conducted on 7th April from Nehru Park up to Botanical Garden by Police Public School, Bemina. In which 12 student won prizes in different categories.
 DIG CKR in his remarks lauded the role of police public school for its working with missionary spirit to serve the students. He also added that in various fields school has to improve performance including academics. He impressed that one should achieve excellence in his field so that success follows. SSP Srinagar also gave his views upon the occasion and gave emphasis to improve academics and sports in a very comprehensive manner.
 SSP Srinagar said one should do hard work then success will automatically follow whatever field is this. He also asserted that there is lot of talent in Srinagar City in various field and police is providing regular platform to such activities.
