MC Sumbal employees stage protest

Srinagar, Apr 26: Employees of Municipal Committee Sumbal Thursday held protests here at Press Enclave, demanding release of wages.
 “We have been without wages for over six months and are on strike. Officials of the Committee are playing with our lives as they don’t release wages for us,” said an employee.
 “We give them an ultimatum of a week to solve our problem and investigate gross misconduct of resources in the department. If they fail to do so, we will go on an indefinite strike,” said another employee.
