Inter-School Girls Martial Art Games
Srinagar, Apr 27: In the ongoing District Srinagar girls’ Inter-School Martial arts championship competitions of Under-19 sqay and Under-17 taekwon-do were held at youth hostel here on Friday.
In Sqay, Under-19, 42-kilogram category, Sabah Mehraj of GHS Hazratbal and saiqa of GHS Nawakadal bagged first two positions respectively while in 46-kilogram category, Saba Shafi of GHS Khanyar, Misbah of GHS Sonwar and Saima Mansoor Khan of GHSS Chanapora bagged first three positions respectively.
In 50-kilogram category, Azra Hassan of Green Valley, Neelofar Jan of GHSS Rainawari and Mohseen bagged first three positions respectively while in 54-kilogram category, Hina Jan of Islamia H School, Irum Majeed of GHSS Chanapora and Ruksana Jan of GHSS Rainawari bagged first three positions respectively.
In 58-kilogram category, Nazima Baba of Kothi Bagh and Zareena of GHSS Rajbagh bagged first two places respectively while in 62-kilogram category, Qurat-ul-Ain of Muwest School, Reyaza Nazim of GHSS Rainawari and Mehak Jan of Chanapora bagged first three places respectively. In open category Ayeesha Nissar of GHS Hazratabal bagged first position.
In Under-17 taekwon-do 36-kilogram category, Sabiqa Bhat of Iqra Educational Institute and Mehnaz of GHSS Fateh Kadal while in 40-kilogram category, Shaheena Akhtar of GHS Rainawari and Heena of GHS Fateh Kadal bagged first two positions respectively.
In 44-kilogram category, Huda of GHS Sonwar and Ulfat Jan of GHS Fateh Kadal bagged first two places respectively.
In 48-kilogram category, Shakeela of GHS Sonwar and Irtiza Bano of GHS hazratbal bagged first two places respectively.
In 52-kilogram category, Azra of GHS Sonwar and Rozy of GHSS Rainawari bagged first two places respectively while in 56-kilogram category, Shahnawaz of GHS Sonwar and Zoha of Batul Memorial Institute bagged first two positions respectively.
In open category, Tabassum Qadri of GHS Rainawari and Sara Khan of SBS bagged first two positions respectively.
