Karewa Damodar landowners for issuance of form (J) notification
Budgam, Apr 27: The land owners at Karewa Damodar that includes 13 villages of Budgam district have appealed the District Administration to expedite the process of issuance of Form (J) in order to facilitate the process of land acquisition at Karewa Damodar.
The landowners who have formed an association- Zamindaran Committee Karewa Damodar - said that the process of issuance of form (J) is getting delayed despite assurances from Deputy Commissioner Budgam and Collector Defence.
“We met Deputy Commissioner Budgam along with Collector Defence in March second week and the officials had assured us that the necessary formalities for issuing form (J) would be completed by the end of March but till date the said notification hasn’t been issued,” said Abdul Rasid Wagay of Wathoora.
Collector Defence Naseer Ahmad told Greater Kashmir that the notification under form (J) would be issued within 10 days.
On enhancement of the land rate, the collector said that this will be looked into only after issuance of the form (J) notification
