School timing changed
Srinagar, Apr 27: According to Director, School Education, Kashmir, all government and government recognized private educational institutions upto higher secondary level falling within the municipal limits of Srinagar shall function from 8 am to 2 pm while all such educational institutions in the rural areas of Kashmir valley shall function from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.
The change in timing will be effective from May 1, 2012, an official spokesman said.
Any deviation in the time schedule by any of the private educational institutions shall warrant stern action, it said.
